Specifications
Floating Pods is a mechanical assembly of pods, vertical poles, overhead support bar, connectors, chain, and overhead beam. Pods are rotationally-molded medium-density polyethylene with an average wall thickness of 0.25” (6mm). Pods have a non-skid surface. Vertical poles are a welded assembly of 1.315” (33mm) O.D. x 12 gauge (3mm) Allied Flo-Coat® galvanized steel tube, 0.375” (10mm) O.D. hot-rolled steel bar, and 10 gauge (3mm) satin-coated steel sheet. Overhead support bar is a welded assembly of 1.5” (38mm) x 3” (76mm) x 11 gauge (3mm) Allied Flo-Coat® galvanized steel rectangular tube, and 0.1875” x 1.75” (5mm x 44mm) zinc-plated hot-rolled mild flat steel. Connectors are 10 gauge (3mm) satin-coated steel sheet. Chain is 0.375 grade 70 transport chain. Overhead beam is a welded assembly of 2.375” (60mm) O.D. x 10 gauge (3mm) Allied Flo-Coat® galvanized steel tube and 10 gauge (3mm) satin-coated steel sheet. Vertical poles, overhead support bar, connectors, and overhead beam are powder-coat painted.
