Specifications
Post to Post Floating Pods is a mechanical assembly of pods, vertical poles, upper support beam, lower support beam, connectors and chain. Pods are rotationally-molded medium-density polyethylene with an average wall thickness of 0.25” (6mm). Pods have a non-skid surface. Vertical poles are a welded assembly of 1.315” (33mm) O.D. x 12 gauge (3mm) Allied Flo-Coat® galvanized steel tube, 0.375” (10mm) O.D. hot-rolled steel bar, and 10 gauge (3mm) satin-coated steel sheet. Upper support beam is a welded assembly 2.375” (60mm) O.D. x 10 gauge (3mm) Allied Flo-Coat® galvanized steel tube, 0.1875” x 3” (5mm x 76mm) zinc-plated hot-rolled mild flat steel, and 1.315” (33mm) O.D. x 12 gauge (3mm) Allied Flo-Coat® galvanized steel tube. Lower support beam is a welded assembly 1.66” (42mm) x 10 gauge (3mm) Allied Flo-Coat® galvanized steel tube, 0.1875” x 1.75” (5mm x 44mm) zinc-plated hot-rolled mild flat steel and 0.375” (10mm) zinc-plated hot-rolled mild flat steel formed ‘u’. Connectors are 10 gauge (3mm) satin-coated steel sheet. Chain is 4/0 hot-dipped galvanized straight-link coil chain. Vertical poles, upper support beam, lower support beam and connectors are powder-coat painted.
